Ryanair canceled around 1,000 flights across UK airports on 2 October 2026 due to a collapse in UK air traffic control systems. This disruption affected thousands of travelers and operations at multiple UK airports.

Nobu has announced its first hotel and restaurant project in Puerto Rico, a 50-room luxury property set to open in San Juan in 2028. The hotel will include a signature Nobu restaurant, bar, and rooftop lounge.

GIC has purchased 16 Marriott-operated hotels in Japan for about $800 million. Marriott will continue running the hotels under the Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand.
