Holland America Line has revised MS Zaandam’s 35-day Hawaii and South Pacific cruise itinerary for October 2026, cancelling the Tabuaeran port call and changing Polynesian schedules. Passengers will receive a US$100 onboard credit due to these adjustments.

Construction has started on a new cruise terminal at Naha Port, Okinawa, involving a joint venture between local authorities and major cruise companies MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean Group. The terminal, targeted to open in March 2028, supports Okinawa's status as an International Cruise Ship Hub since 2019 and aims to boost cruise tourism across Asia.

Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Believe will start sailing December 18, 2027, from Fort Lauderdale. It features the first-ever 'Encanto' stage musical and ten new themed restaurants.
