Angola has formally inaugurated a new institution dedicated to supporting the growth of its business tourism and meetings industry. This newly created Convention Bureau seeks to position the country more prominently within the competitive market for conventions and related events.
One of the bureau’s central objectives is to reduce Angola’s heavy economic dependence on oil by fostering the development of business tourism. By concentrating efforts on expanding this sector, the bureau aims to strengthen Angola’s appeal as a destination for conventions and professional gatherings.
