Allegiant Air announced on August 17, 2026, plans to launch nine new domestic routes starting early 2027. Most of these routes are hyper-seasonal, targeting leisure travelers by connecting northern cities with Florida destinations. Only one route will operate year-round.

Beginning February 12, 2027, Allegiant will operate a year-round route between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida. Additionally, seasonal service will start February 10, 2027, between Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Sanford, Florida, continuing through April 17, 2027. The remaining seven routes will link various points in New England with Florida during peak spring break periods.

Routes Respond to Spring Break Demand

The new routes are designed to

meet increased spring break travel demand and exemplify Allegiant Air’s flexible business model. Seven of the new routes are hyper-seasonal flights connecting New England locations to Florida, focusing on short-term leisure travel. The airline expects these routes to expand nonstop travel options for passengers during peak periods.

Official Statements on Network Expansion

Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, Drew Wells, stated, “We’re excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” Wells added that the new connections highlight the airline’s ability to adjust services according to seasonal demand,

providing increased options during key leisure periods.
