The ambitious bullet train initiative continues to encounter significant obstacles, particularly regarding progress on construction and securing stable financing. These enduring issues have resulted in stalled development and unresolved financial concerns, limiting advancement of the rail system. While the project remains officially underway, substantial hurdles remain that have impeded its realization even after nearly two decades.
