Collier County voters approved a sixth penny increase in the local tourist tax during the general election held on November 3, 2026. The measure will raise fees on visitors to the Naples, Florida area.
County commissioners had placed the tourist tax question on the ballot, which required a simple majority vote to pass. More than 50% of voters supported the increase, allowing the county to generate additional funding for tourism-related initiatives.
