Traveler Recommendations Amid Flight Disruptions

Travel experts

advise passengers to regularly check their flight status on airline apps and enable notifications for updates. Allowing extra connection time through busy airports is recommended. Carrying essential items in a carry-on is advised to manage extended delays.

She said, “A cancellation feels like chaos, but the travelers who come out of it best treat a disruption as a planning problem rather than an emergency. Screenshot the rebooking policy before you leave the house.” Gordon warned against hastily accepting the first available seat as it

may result in being stranded overnight with luggage on a separate flight.
