ZIPAIR will operate four round-trip charter flights between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) in February and March 2027, offering a rare nonstop connection between Florida’s Walt Disney World and Japan’s Tokyo Disney Resort.

Flight Schedule and Ticket Availability

The airline’s nonstop flights are scheduled for specific dates in early 2027 and have an estimated flight time of approximately 14 hours, significantly shorter than the typical 18 hours or more required for connecting itineraries. ZIPAIR is expected to launch standalone ticket sales through its website in late November 2026, with detailed departure times and fares to be announced at a later

date.

Charter Service and Background

The route operates exclusively as a series of charter flights subject to government approvals, not as a daily scheduled service. Before the introduction of this nonstop option, passengers traveling between Orlando and Tokyo Disney parks relied on connecting flights, which extended travel time and complexity. ZIPAIR introduced this service in 2026 to meet demand for a direct connection between the two prominent Disney destinations.

Official Statements and Vacation Packages

Lance Lyttle, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, stated that the enthusiasm for ZIPAIR’s initial flights surpassed expectations, confirming strong traveler interest in this nonstop link. Japanese travel agencies including H.I.S., JTB, and Jalpak

are marketing vacation packages that combine these ZIPAIR charter flights with Disney park tickets, hotel stays, and airport transfers, enhancing convenience for travelers.

Traveler Considerations and Route Context

Travelers planning trips around these flights must align with the limited charter dates and are advised not to book nonrefundable hotel rooms or park tickets until flights are confirmed. The nonstop connection improves travel time and simplifies transit between Orlando’s Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort, which includes Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. ZIPAIR’s February 2026 inaugural nonstop service marked the first direct passenger air route between Florida and the Asia-Pacific region.
