Significance of ITB Asia 2026 for Sri Lankan Tourism
ITB Asia, an established annual travel trade show in Singapore, brings together industry stakeholders involved in various segments including MICE and travel technology.
The 2026 edition offered Sri Lanka a platform to present its diverse tourism offerings and engage with buyers and industry partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
Promoting Business and Leisure Travel Through Dual Pavilions
The strategic deployment of two pavilions
allowed Sri Lanka to simultaneously highlight its business event infrastructure and leisure travel options, particularly focusing on wellness and Ayurveda tourism.
This dual presence enabled participating Sri Lankan companies to showcase services, network internationally, and explore partnership opportunities within multiple tourism sectors at ITB Asia 2026.
