The expo will highlight key travel destinations, notably Canada for viewing the Aurora Borealis between late August and mid-April. Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, which were showcased at the previous expo in February 2026, will also be featured. The Japan National Tourism Organization will participate, promoting Japan as a
popular destination for travelers from Davao City.

Despite an ongoing oil crisis affecting travel costs, airlines and hotels are offering special rates to support passengers and guests during the event. Domestic flights remain operational, supporting business and leisure travel needs in Mindanao. The expo includes business-to-consumer sessions facilitated by accredited local travel agents.
