SWISS has commenced a series of new summer flight routes departing from Zurich to several prominent cities across the United States. This service began in May 2026 and provides travelers with fresh options for direct air travel between Switzerland’s largest city and key U.S. destinations.
The airline is deploying its Airbus A340 aircraft for these routes. This choice of wide-body aircraft is notable as it supports longer-haul travel, complementing the operational capacity required for these transatlantic journeys.
New Connections Linking Zurich’s MICE Market with U.S. Destinations
Zurich continues to be recognized as one of Switzerland’s leading destinations for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). The city’s role as a
business hub underpins the introduction of these new flight options, linking it directly with major American centers.
The new flights connect Zurich with a number of U.S. cities, namely Denver, Seattle, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, Newark, and San Francisco. These routes provide additional avenues for business and leisure travelers seeking straightforward travel between Europe and North America.
