Carnival Cruise Line announced that it will adopt a dynamic pricing model for its drink and Wi-Fi packages starting December 1, 2026. Prices will vary depending on sailing length, itinerary, and season.

Current Pricing for Drink and Wi-Fi Packages

At present, Carnival’s three main drink packages are priced between $6.95 and $69.95 per person, per day. Wi-Fi services range from $20.40 to $25.50 per person, per day, with a connectivity package covering up to four devices starting at $90.

Dynamic Pricing Model and Rationale

The cruise line’s dynamic pricing approach adjusts package costs in response to factors such as the cruise duration, destination, and seasonal demand patterns. This model, common in airline

tickets and hotel bookings, aims to reflect changes in demand more accurately.

Carnival stated this strategy “allows us to better align pricing with the type of cruise a guest books while providing greater flexibility and reflecting seasonal demand.” The line added, “Importantly, once a guest purchases a package, their confirmed price is locked in and will not change even if pricing is adjusted later.”

FunPacks Promotion and Booking Details

Carnival currently offers a FunPacks promotion that includes drink and Wi-Fi packages bundled with shore excursions, specialty dining, and spa treatments. FunPacks are priced between $25 and $99 per person, per day. Travelers can book these

add-ons until October 30, 2026, for cruises sailing between October 31, 2026, and December 31, 2027.

Dynamic pricing for onboard packages follows established cruise industry practices of fluctuating fares based on demand, seasonality, and inventory management, similar to models used by airlines and hotels.
