EasyJet Launches 18 New Routes Across 10 UK Airports

EasyJet, the UK’s largest low-cost carrier, is adding 18 new routes from hubs including Liverpool, London Gatwick, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, and more. The airline will operate six new routes to Spain, for the first time flying to Girona from Liverpool starting 28 March 2027, with twice-weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. Services from London Gatwick to Girona begin on

3 June 2027, operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

From Scotland, EasyJet is launching six new routes from airports such as Aberdeen, including the first flights from Aberdeen to Barcelona. Additionally, EasyJet will be the exclusive operator on several routes, such as Birmingham to Milan, Liverpool to Murcia, London Gatwick to Ajaccio, and Bristol to Montpellier.

Ryanair Adds Six New Routes Including Leeds Bradford Boost

Ryanair’s new summer 2027 schedule includes enhanced return flights to Leeds Bradford Airport from Budapest, Corfu, and Malaga. The airline also introduced Eastern European routes like Birmingham to Wroclaw and East Midlands to Gdansk. These new services are now available for

booking, increasing travel options from these UK airports.

These route expansions from Ryanair and EasyJet improve flight access from smaller UK airports to popular European destinations, providing UK travelers with a broader range of choices for summer 2027 travel.
