Spanish hospitality company Palladium Hotel Group is reporting significant growth in demand from U.S. travelers across its global portfolio as of late 2026. With operations encompassing over 40 hotels and 13,000 rooms in nine countries, the group ranks the United States as its top source market in the Americas, its third largest in Europe, and second largest in Spain. The group’s brands include TRS Hotels, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotels, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, The Unexpected Hotels, Only YOU Hotels, BLESS Collection Hotels, and Hard Rock Hotels under license.
Growth in U.S. Traveler Demand and Rates in Americas and Europe
U.S. visitors now account for approximately 30% of Palladium’s
business in the Americas, where the average daily rate (ADR) from this market grew by 4% year-over-year. The group’s America portfolio covers Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Brazil, featuring all-inclusive resorts that cater to families as well as adults-only clientele under brands like Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts and TRS Hotels. Across the entire global portfolio, U.S. guests typically stay about five nights per visit.
In Europe, demand from U.S. travelers showed a 6% year-over-year increase in Spain, accompanied by a 5% rise in ADR year-to-date. The Balearic Islands, a notable Spanish market, registered a 13% increase in ADR
from U.S. guests compared to the previous year.
U.S. Traveler Growth Impact in Spain and Ibiza Developments
Palladium Hotel Group’s growth in Spain correlates with broader tourism trends, as TurEspaña reports a 9.5% increase in U.S. arrivals and a 17.6% rise in tourism spending reaching €5.85 billion during the first half of 2026. In Ibiza, Palladium has invested more than €90 million in The Site Ibiza, which includes two five-star hotels, a culinary hub with acclaimed chefs, and wellness and entertainment venues.
This development features BLESS Ibiza The Site with 461 rooms, designed by Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, and The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, an adults-only property with immersive
design and entertainment. The Unexpected Hotel houses Europe’s first Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, which opened in June 2025 through a partnership between Gordon Ramsay Restaurants and Palladium Hotel Group. Additionally, Ibiza is set to receive a new direct flight from New York starting in 2027 to support increased U.S. visitation.
New Openings in Barcelona and New York Highlight Expansion
In Spain’s urban hospitality sector, Palladium recently introduced BLESS Barcelona, a five-star luxury hotel located in Plaça de Catalunya. It offers 119 rooms, a rooftop pool, and La Pajarera Sky Lounge, placing guests near key landmarks such as Passeig de Gràcia and Barcelona’s cultural core.
Simultaneously, the group is
preparing to enter the U.S. market with Only YOU Hotel New York. Situated on 45th Street in Manhattan within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square, this debut Americas property aims to reflect New York’s character through design, dining, and social spaces. Only YOU Hotels currently operates in Madrid, Valencia, Málaga, and Seville, with additional openings planned in Ibiza and New York.
U.S. Market Influence and All-Inclusive Travel Trends
Rising U.S. traveler demand is supported by growing popularity of all-inclusive vacations in North America. Research by Skift finds 87% of U.S. and Canadian travelers have considered such resorts, while nearly 60% show a stronger preference for them
over the past five years. Travelers increasingly seek personalization, wellness, and premium amenities alongside the convenience of all-inclusive packages.
Palladium Hotel Group’s strategic focus on luxury and lifestyle hotel concepts aims to connect guests with local gastronomy, design, and culture. The expansion in Ibiza and Barcelona, combined with the upcoming Only YOU New York launch and enhanced air connectivity to Ibiza, exemplify the group’s efforts to capitalize on this trend and deepen its presence in key international markets.
