easyJet will add three routes from Southampton Airport for summer 2027, expanding its network with flights to Edinburgh, La Rochelle, and Malaga. The daily Southampton to Edinburgh service begins on March 28, 2027. Flights to Malaga will start on May 1, running twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while the La Rochelle route launches on May 29, also twice weekly on the same days.

Fares for the new routes start at £32.48. Tickets can be booked through easyJet’s website and mobile app. Package holidays featuring flights and hotels will be offered for the Edinburgh and Malaga routes via easyJet

holidays. These packages include 23kg luggage allowances and transfers.

With the introduction of these three routes, easyJet will operate a total of 11 destinations from Southampton Airport in summer 2027. Existing destinations served from Southampton by easyJet include Alicante, Barcelona, Belfast, Faro, Glasgow, Manchester, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Palma de Mallorca.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK country manager, stated the new services will provide customers with greater choice and connectivity from Southampton. Chris Tibbett, executive director of commercial aviation and marketing at Southampton Airport, welcomed the expansion, saying, “We welcome easyJet’s investment in expanding its Southampton network from Summer 2027

with the introduction of three new routes to Edinburgh, La Rochelle and Malaga.” He added the daily Edinburgh service will strengthen vital links between Scotland and England’s south coast, supporting tourism, trade, investment, and the cruise sector.

The new routes enhance travel options for passengers based in Southampton, providing frequent flights to key destinations in Scotland, France, and Spain. The Edinburgh service’s daily frequency offers added flexibility and affordable fares for passengers travelling between the south coast and Scotland.
