The Knox, Auberge Collection, opened reservations on October 15, 2026, for stays starting January 29, 2027, in Dallas’s Knox Street neighborhood. The new hotel and residential property offers overnight rates beginning at $1,000 per night and is located next to the 3.5-mile Katy Trail recreational corridor.
The property includes 140 guest rooms and suites alongside 48 private residences. This combined total of 188 units positions The Knox as a major hospitality anchor within the ongoing Knox Street commercial and residential redevelopment. The project is a partnership among BDT & MSD Partners, Trammell Crow Company, the Owners of Highland Park Village,
and The Retail Connection.
Accommodations at The Knox feature marble bathrooms and curated artwork. Suites provide separate living and dining spaces, with the largest suite, The Manse, offering its own fitness area, wellness room, bar, and media room. Another highlight, the Promenade Suite, boasts a 2,100-square-foot terrace equipped with private dining and lounge areas. For extended stays, two- and three-bedroom apartments named Abbott House, Hester House, and Hyland House are available.
The hotel houses four distinct dining venues: a signature American restaurant, an indoor-outdoor salon, an evening cocktail lounge, and a poolside dining area with panoramic views of the Dallas
skyline. Wellness facilities under the Well-being by Auberge brand include services such as skin therapies, thermal baths, and recovery treatments.
Event and meeting facilities at The Knox include the Colonnade Room ballroom on the second floor, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace, complemented by The Gallery, an art-adorned pre-function space. The third floor contains the Knox Parlour Rooms—Waldon, Margay, Barlow, and the tented Kestrel Room—as well as the Trophy Room private dining area within the main restaurant.
Rick Fidel, regional vice president and general manager of The Knox, stated the hotel’s design intentionally integrates with the Knox Street neighborhood.
He said, “We are delighted to begin welcoming guests to The Knox, Auberge Collection and introduce a new expression of luxury hospitality to Dallas. Inspired by the energy, character and culture of the city, The Knox was designed to be more than a hotel. It will be a gathering place where exceptional dining, thoughtful well-being, inspired design and extraordinary hospitality come together.”
Christian Clerc, president and CEO of Auberge Collection, described the opening as part of the brand’s metropolitan expansion. Clerc said, “The Knox marks an exciting new chapter in Auberge Collection’s growth as we bring our distinctive approach to
hospitality to the world’s most dynamic cities.” He added, “We are proud to welcome The Knox to our portfolio and introduce a vibrant destination that celebrates Dallas’s distinctive character while offering a deeply personal experience that is uniquely Auberge.”
Sabrina Gleizer, representing development partner BDT & MSD Partners, emphasized the project’s connection to the local area. She stated, “From the beginning, our vision for The Knox was to create a place that feels distinctly Dallas and becomes a meaningful part of the Knox Street neighborhood.” Gleizer also credited Auberge’s partnership in delivering thoughtful design, personal hospitality, and a strong sense
of place.
The Knox is designed with public interiors and guest accommodations by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, while Chad Dorsey Design created the interiors for the private residences. The hotel sits adjacent to the Katy Trail, providing guests direct access to local walking and biking paths in central Dallas.
The Knox’s opening forms a key element of a larger redevelopment strategy for the Knox Street area involving multiple development partners. This addition also fits within Auberge Collection’s broader growth plan into major metropolitan markets. Auberge Collection is also preparing to open Cambridge House in London’s Mayfair neighborhood in 2027 as
part of its international expansion.
