In July 2026, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) began nationwide deployment of its V-Pass facial recognition system across Nigerian domestic airports.
The V-Pass system aims to boost passenger processing and security by using biometric technology for more efficient security screening at these airports.
