Disney Cruise Line announced that its newest vessel, the Disney Believe, will undertake its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Disney Believe will operate four-night and five-night cruises to destinations in the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. These itineraries will include stops at Disney’s private islands, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The ship’s entertainment lineup will feature the first-ever musical adaptation of Disney’s “Encanto” performed at sea. The musical will include popular songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda such as “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.” Additional
stage productions onboard will include “Tangled: The Musical” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.”
Guests will board into a “Moana”-themed Grand Hall showcasing a statue of Moana alongside characters Pua and Heihei. This theme extends into stateroom designs with papercut-style artwork inspired by “Moana,” “Coco,” and “The Lion King.” Dining options include a new family venue called Oaken’s Table themed after “Frozen,” as well as Sea Notes piano lounge inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” cafes themed to “Big Hero 6” and “Moana,” and an adults-only pub named Skygazers resembling a magical observatory. Nighttime adults-only entertainment will be hosted in Gazelle, a
live show hub based on the “Zootopia” movies.
The ship will offer children’s clubs such as Disney’s Oceaneer Club, It’s a Small World Nursery, The Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway catering to various age groups. Returning popular venues onboard will include the Haunted Mansion Parlor bar, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and The Rose lounge.
Disney Believe is the fourth vessel in Disney Cruise Line’s Wish class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Booking for the inaugural season opens to the public on October 19, 2026, with Castaway Club members having access from October 12,
2026.
