Ground handlers at Brussels Airport joined a nationwide strike in Belgium on Friday, October 9, 2026, leading to significant operational disruptions at the airport.
Brussels Airport confirmed that around 100 flights were cancelled as a result of the strike action taken by ground handling staff on that date.
