
Southwest Airlines announced in October 2026 that it will begin operating three new seasonal routes from Nashville International Airport in summer 2027. The new destinations include Boise, Idaho; Nassau, Bahamas; and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. Specific start dates and flight frequencies for these routes have not been disclosed.
Southwest Airlines Expands Nashville Service
In addition to these new seasonal flights, Southwest will resume seasonal service between Nashville and Bozeman, Montana, as well as Portland, Oregon. This expansion coincides with Southwest’s announcement of seven new domestic and international routes from Austin, Texas.
Southwest Airlines has maintained a significant presence at Nashville International Airport, serving destinations across
the United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The airline opened a crew base at Nashville in 2024 and is currently constructing a new lounge at the airport.
