Choice Hotels Opens Six New Upscale Properties

Choice Hotels International opened six new hotel properties in 2026 across Colorado, Florida, Vermont, and Wisconsin, expanding its upscale portfolio to over 300 hotels in the United States. The new properties include two Cambria Hotels and four Ascend Collection hotels, reflecting continued growth in the company’s upscale lodging segment.

These six new hotels are located in diverse markets, including the Cambria Hotel Colorado Springs – Air Force Academy in Colorado; Cambria Hotel Jacksonville in Florida; two Ascend Collection properties named Caretta Landing Sarasota and Coral Pointe Sarasota along Florida’s Gulf Coast; Fairway Inn and Suites in Mishicot, Wisconsin; and Sun

Lodge in Peru, Vermont. Each property offers amenities designed to serve business and leisure travelers, such as meeting spaces, fitness centers, and distinctive local experiences.

The Cambria Hotel Colorado Springs features 97 guestrooms and suites, a rooftop bar, on-site restaurant, a 24-hour Grab & Go marketplace, and 286 square feet of flexible meeting space. Located five miles from the U.S. Air Force Academy, it provides convenient access to attractions like the Garden of the Gods and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. Cambria Hotel Jacksonville offers contemporary rooms with premium bedding and spa-inspired baths, a locally inspired restaurant and bar,

complimentary WiFi, rooftop event space, an outdoor pool, and fitness center.

Ascend Collection properties Caretta Landing Sarasota and Coral Pointe Sarasota provide resort-style amenities while maintaining distinct identities. Caretta Landing offers 86 guestrooms with wellness-focused features, an outdoor heated pool, meeting space, and proximity to Siesta Key Beach. Coral Pointe includes 107 guestrooms and apartment-style suites, a boutique retail market, meeting space, fitness center, and easy access to local attractions such as the Sarasota Art Museum and Nathan Benderson Park. Together, these two hotels share nearly 1,100 square feet of combined meeting space and a resort-style outdoor pool.

Fairway Inn

and Suites in Wisconsin has 102 renovated guestrooms, nearly 19,000 square feet of meeting and event space, an indoor heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, and on-site Greyfox Bar and Grill. The hotel offers golf packages linked to a nearby 45-hole golf course and lies close to Point Beach State Forest, Green Bay, and Two Rivers. Vermont’s Sun Lodge provides 50 guestrooms with ski-in/ski-out access, a game room, outdoor fire pits, meeting facilities, and nearly 800 square feet of event space. The property is situated at the base of Bromley Mountain with access to regional hiking, skiing, and local attractions.

Choice Hotels currently has nearly 150 upscale hotel properties in its development pipeline. The company’s upscale portfolio encompasses brands including Cambria Hotels, Ascend Collection, Radisson, Radisson Blu, and Radisson Individuals. Cambria Hotels now has more than 75 operating locations in major U.S. cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Nashville, and Phoenix. Ascend Collection maintains over 500 properties worldwide and is recognized as the first and largest soft brand in the hotel industry.
