Contour Airlines will begin operating five weekly nonstop flights between Northwest Alabama Regional Airport (MSL) in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) starting November 12, 2026.
To accommodate the new service, Contour Airlines will reallocate five weekly flights previously scheduled for its Muscle Shoals to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) route. Despite this reallocation, daily nonstop service from Muscle Shoals to Charlotte will continue without interruption.
The flights will be conducted using Contour’s 30-seat regional jets, which feature leather seating with expanded legroom. Passengers will receive complimentary snacks and beverages during the flight. Tickets for the
new Dallas Fort Worth route and existing services are available through Contour’s website, call center, and travel agencies.

Barry Griffith, Airport Director at Northwest Alabama Regional Airport, described the Dallas Fort Worth route as a highly requested nonstop destination for local travelers. He said the new service is expected to boost passenger traffic, establish seamless connections with American Airlines, provide affordable fares for both business and leisure travelers, and generate economic benefits for the region.

the new route offers the community an additional direct option to reach a major U.S. market and connect to further destinations nationwide. Munson also acknowledged ongoing support from the Muscle Shoals community and Northwest Alabama Regional Airport.
