Thai Airways has confirmed it will clear 5,000 baggage items currently stranded at Bangkok airport. The airline’s CEO verified that a clearance plan is in place to address the backlog.

Clearance of the stranded bags is expected to be completed by late September 2026. Passengers awaiting delayed luggage at Bangkok airport can expect resolution by that date.
