On September 24, 2026, Air Canada announced it will continue suspending flights to and from Dubai International Airport (DXB) through March 31, 2027.

The airline attributed the extended cancellation to the ongoing situation in the Middle East. Air Canada completed a thorough assessment of the security environment across the region, leading to the prolonged halt on Dubai operations.

Air Canada has advised passengers affected by the Dubai route suspensions to monitor flight status and travel updates as the regional situation develops.

Meanwhile, Air Canada is preparing to resume year-round service on the Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Tel Aviv

(TLV) route starting November 30, 2026, contrasting with the continued Dubai suspension.
