In addition to the ground stop, the FAA activated a ground delay program for arriving flights at Harry Reid International Airport starting at 1:52 p.m.
PDT. The program is slated to continue until 11:59 p.m. PDT on the same day due to strong wind conditions around the airport. According to FAA data, flights arriving at the airport faced average delays of approximately 72 minutes as a result of these operational restrictions.
