The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) announced it will extend the use of V-Pass facial recognition technology to all domestic airports nationwide beginning July 2026.
The expansion aims to improve passenger identification processes and increase security measures. The deployment will also focus on accelerating boarding efficiency throughout Nigeria’s domestic air travel network.
