Another regional property, Amanyara in Turks and Caicos, offers 38 pavilions and 19 villas. Across the brand’s portfolio, guest preferences are recorded and tracked globally to ensure personalized service at every visit.

Luxury Concierge Insights and Market Trends

William Gingras,

head of the Montreal-based luxury concierge service Arthur Majordome, notes that ultra-affluent Canadians increasingly seek high-touch, personalized travel experiences with larger budgets. According to a 2025 Virtuoso survey of 2,485 luxury travel advisers globally, 45% reported rising demand for “unlimited luxury” defined by privacy, exclusivity, and remote retreats, aligning with Aman’s service model.

Repeat Guest Benefits and Unique Experiences

While Aman has no formal loyalty program, it offers exclusive perks for repeat guests. Visitors returning to Amanera gain access to the members-only Playa Grande Golf Course. Amanyara provides fitness and recovery programs vetted by tennis star Novak Djokovic and sports clinics with athletes such as Maria

Sharapova, Leylah Fernandez, and NBA player Kevin Love. Guests who stay at any Aman property seven times receive an “Aman Junkie” T-shirt as a recognition of their repeat patronage.

Airport Access and Transport Details

Amanera is a 90-minute private transfer from Puerto Plata airport in the Dominican Republic, where guests receive VIP service upon arrival. Amanyara is a 25-minute drive from Providenciales airport in Turks and Caicos. These connections emphasize privacy and comfort over convenience, catering to Aman’s clientele who prioritize seclusion.

Alex Rodriguez’s Investment and Development Near Amanera

Retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez, whose parents are Dominican, invested over US$1 billion into tourism development on the Playa Grande coast near Amanera.

His investments include a small private jet airport minutes from the resort, enhancing access for elite visitors. Amanera is also expanding by selling multimillion-dollar oceanfront casas as part of the ongoing development.

Official Statements on Service and Guest Relationships

William Gingras said, “If, for example, you don’t want any alcohol in your room, but want specialized tea, once you say it for the first time, you never have to repeat yourself.” He added Aman focuses “on relationships and long-term repeat guests, not high volume margin.” Olivier Lordonnois, Aman Group’s Managing Director Americas, described the guest experience as feeling like “a very wealthy friend’s house that is warm,

well-appointed and inviting instead of a resort with a robotic code of service.” Gingras also remarked, “When you become an Aman junkie, you have access to those before everybody else.”
