The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) plans to extend the use of the V-Pass facial recognition technology across multiple Nigerian domestic airports beginning in July 2026.
The expansion aims to accelerate passenger processing times and strengthen border security for domestic travelers within Nigeria. From the rollout date, domestic passengers will experience faster and more secure identity verification through this system.
