Air Canada introduced a biometric gate enrollment feature in its mobile app in September 2026. The update enables passengers to register their biometric data via the app to facilitate boarding.
Enrollment applies to gates at Toronto Pearson Airport. Passengers flying through this airport can use the biometric gating system from that date, allowing quicker processing at the boarding gate.
