Accor Names Ink 48 NYC as MGallery’s First U.S. Flagship Hotel

Accor Launches MGallery's U.S. Flagship at NYC's Ink 48 Hotel

Accor’s MGallery Collection has signed the Ink 48 hotel in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen as its first U.S. flagship property. The hotel, jointly owned by Capstone Equities and Leyad, was acquired in 2024 for $275,000 per key in a 50/50 joint venture and will maintain independent operations during renovation before joining MGallery in 2028.

Located on Manhattan’s West Side overlooking the Hudson River and within easy reach of Times Square, Hudson Yards, and Broadway, Ink 48 comprises 222 guestrooms including 17 suites and a signature penthouse suite. It also features a rooftop bar called Hudson VU, a ground-floor restaurant named Hudson

Local, approximately 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a fitness center.

The hotel, which originally opened in 2009 and was purchased by Brookfield Properties in 2019 for $82.7 million, will undergo an extensive renovation and enhancement program designed to elevate the guest experience while preserving its distinctive character. Rebel Hotel Company will manage Ink 48 under the MGallery brand following its official inclusion in 2028.

MGallery currently comprises over 125 boutique hotels worldwide, with more than

60 projects in development and nine openings planned before the end of 2026. Its expansion includes key destinations in North America, as well as properties in Seattle, Vancouver, Mexico, Mykonos, Maldives, and Dubai. Ink 48’s arrival marks a milestone in strengthening Accor’s luxury portfolio and strategic growth footprint in North America.
