Accor is preparing to launch MGallery’s first flagship hotel in the United States at the Ink 48 hotel in New York City, scheduled for 2028. The property, located in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood near the Hudson River, will mark a key advancement in the brand’s North American expansion.

Ink 48 features 222 rooms and suites and is renowned for the Hudson Vu rooftop bar offering panoramic views of the city skyline. The hotel is owned through a partnership between New York-based Capstone Equities and Montreal’s Leyad and is managed by Rebel Hotel Company.

Before its integration into the MGallery portfolio,

Ink 48 will remain operational and independent during an extensive renovation aimed at enhancing the guest experience while preserving the hotel’s unique character, according to an Accor spokesperson.

MGallery currently operates over 125 hotels worldwide and has an existing presence in North America with properties such as Hotel Ändra Seattle and locations in Canada and Mexico. Members of Accor’s ALL (Accor Live Limitless) loyalty program will be able to earn and redeem points at Ink 48 after its transition.

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legends, Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems, said, “New York City is one of the world’s most influential

travel destinations and welcoming Ink 48 into the MGallery Collection represents a significant step forward for our brand in North America.” She added, “As our preeminent flagship MGallery in the United States, Ink 48 will play an important role in increasing brand awareness and supporting our continued expansion across the region.”
