Carnival Cruise Line will offer new shorter cruises from Galveston, Texas, aboard its Excel-class ship Carnival Jubilee during the 2028/29 season. This marks the first time the line’s latest Excel-class vessel will provide regular four- and five-day sailings from the Galveston homeport.
Itinerary Details and Schedule
The four-day Western Caribbean cruises will operate on select Thursdays starting April 27, 2028, through April 26, 2029. These itineraries include calls at Cozumel, Mexico. Five-day Western Caribbean sailings are scheduled for select Saturdays and Mondays from April 17, 2028, through April 30, 2029, with stops in Cozumel and Progreso, Yucatán.
In addition to short cruises, Carnival Jubilee
will run six- and eight-day voyages from Galveston during the same season. For example, the ship will undertake a six-day Western Caribbean cruise departing October 29, 2028, visiting Cozumel and Isla Tropicale, Roatán. These new itinerary options are designed to provide greater flexibility and more diverse vacation choices for passengers sailing from Galveston.
