The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has started deploying the V-Pass facial recognition technology nationwide across Nigerian domestic airports.
The rollout began in July 2026 and will introduce biometric identity verification for domestic travelers, aiming to improve passenger identity verification and airport operational efficiency.
