HCW announced plans to build a new 140-room hotel under Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand adjacent to Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana. The five-story hotel will be approximately 109,324 square feet and is expected to open in spring 2028, adding lodging, dining, meeting, and leisure facilities to the destination.
Hotel Features and Amenities
The hotel will include suites, king rooms, and double queen accommodations. It will feature a resort-style infinity pool overlooking water with poolside seating, an integrated restaurant and bar offering outdoor poolside dining, and two flexible meeting rooms totaling 1,648 square feet. A fitness center will also be part of the property, designed
to serve both leisure and business travelers.
Horseshoe Indianapolis Facilities and Target Guests
Horseshoe Indianapolis includes 106,000 square feet of casino space with 1,480 gaming machines, 80 table games, a sportsbook, 22,000 square feet of meeting space, and a live racetrack. Owned by Caesars Entertainment, the venue serves guests attending gaming, horse racing, entertainment events, meetings, and leisure activities.

The hotel will be part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand, known for independent hotels with distinctive character, locally inspired design, and individualized guest experiences, combining boutique personality with Hilton’s global reach.
