HCW has announced plans to begin construction this fall on a new 140-room hotel branded under Hilton’s Tapestry Collection. The hotel will be located directly adjacent to the Horseshoe Indianapolis casino and horse racing venue in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Hotel Specifications and Timeline
The planned hotel will rise five stories and encompass 109,324 square feet. It is scheduled to open in spring 2028, providing lodging, dining, meeting, and leisure services to visitors. The project aims to combine the boutique character of Tapestry Collection properties with Hilton’s global hospitality resources.
Features and Amenities
The property will offer 140 guest rooms, including suites, king rooms, and double queen rooms. Amenities
will include a resort-style infinity pool overlooking water, with poolside seating. An integrated restaurant and bar will provide indoor and outdoor dining options by the pool. For events and business functions, two meeting rooms totaling 1,648 square feet will be available. The hotel will also include a fitness center for guests.
Horseshoe Indianapolis and Guest Demand
Horseshoe Indianapolis, owned by Caesars Entertainment, features approximately 106,000 square feet of casino space, 1,480 gaming machines, 80 table games, a sportsbook, 22,000 square feet of meeting space, and a live racetrack. The hotel will serve visitors attending the casino, horse racing, entertainment, meetings, and special events at the
venue.
