ITB India 2026 took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai over three days, featuring more than 100 exhibiting brands and attracting 600 travel trade buyers from Leisure, MICE, Corporate Travel, and Travel Technology sectors. The event facilitated over 4,800 one-to-one meetings, supporting business connections and partnership development across India and South Asia.

Exhibitors at ITB India 2026 represented regions including Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, Africa, Northeast Asia, and South America. Notable brands attending included Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, IHCL, MakeMyTrip, Northern Lights Villages, oneworld alliance, Philippine Airlines, Sarawak

Leadership Roundtable Introduced for Strategic Discussions
For the first time, the ITB India Leadership Roundtable was held in collaboration with global strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher. This forum brought together senior leaders from tourism, hospitality, travel technology, investment, destinations, and government sectors to discuss India’s evolving role in global tourism. Topics included traveller segmentation, destination competitiveness, connectivity, and how destinations can align with India’s diverse traveller profiles to capture growth opportunities.
Cruise Capsule Focuses on India’s Cruise and MICE Markets
The event hosted the second edition of the Cruise Capsule, which gathered cruise experts, travel trade professionals, and MICE specialists.
The program centered on developments in India’s cruise market and included discussions on cruise tourism and MICE at sea, reflecting niche growth areas in the region.
Extensive Conference Programme and Networking Events
The ITB India Conference featured 40 sessions with 80 speakers spread across four curated tracks: Knowledge, MICE & Corporate, Travel Technology, and Experiential Travel. The conference provided 1,440 minutes of content addressing trends in MICE, Corporate Travel, Hospitality, Travel Technology, and evolving traveller expectations. Participants included representatives from companies such as Accenture Technology, BCD Meetings & Events, Cipla, Deloitte India, Expedia Group, FCM Meetings & Events, IDECK Limited, MakeMyTrip, QuadLabs, Spotnana, Taj Hotels, Tripadvisor,
and Tripjack.
Networking extended beyond formal meetings, with events like the ITB India Happy Hour giving attendees informal opportunities to engage. Additional networking followed the Cruise Capsule, connecting cruise and MICE sectors.
Darren Seah, Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, highlighted the strong interest at ITB India 2026 in India and South Asia as growth markets. He emphasized the quality of interactions between exhibitors and qualified buyers that led to focused discussions, new connections, and future partnership potential. The event is scheduled to continue in 2027 as a B2B platform connecting international travel industries with Indian and South Asian
markets.
