Brussels Airlines is opening two new direct scheduled flights to Finnish Lapland airports Kemi-Tornio and Kittilä for the winter 2026–2027 season.
Flights between Brussels and Kemi-Tornio will operate 1-2 times per week from 25 December 2026 to 10 March 2027. The Brussels-Kittilä route will have three weekly flights from 10 December 2026 to 27 March 2027.

Kemi-Tornio Airport serves the maritime Sea Lapland region, known for its archipelagos and hiking destinations, and provides easy access to broader Lapland areas and Sweden. Kittilä Airport is a key gateway to northern Finnish Lapland, attracting winter travelers.

the Netherlands, and Belgian cities such as Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, and Ostend, offers extensive onward connections.

Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President for Route Development, said the new flights are good news for tourism in Northern Finland and provide extensive European connections for passengers.
