Fly2Galicia will start direct flight service to Santiago de Compostela from eight European cities at Santiago–Rosalía de Castro Airport beginning December 1, 2026. The airline will connect Santiago de Compostela with domestic and international destinations starting this date.

Fly2Galicia Routes and Ticket Pricing

Fly2Galicia’s initial domestic routes to Santiago de Compostela include Alicante, Grenada, and Zaragoza. Its international network will connect Brussels, Prague, Munich, Venice, and Milan to Santiago. Ticket prices for flights from Milan to Santiago begin at €41, while prices from Brussels, Prague, and Venice start at €51. Flights from Munich come with starting rates of €71.

Operations and Ticket Sales

The flights marketed under Fly2Galicia will

be operated by an unnamed European carrier. Tickets for these new routes went on sale beginning August 20, 2026. The launch aims to offer more affordable direct travel options to Santiago de Compostela, reducing the need for multiple connections.

Wizz Air Expansion at Santiago Airport

Separately, Wizz Air confirmed it will start flights from Rome and Warsaw to Santiago de Compostela in December 2026. The low-cost carrier will establish a permanent base at Santiago–Rosalía de Castro Airport in February 2027. The base launch will include domestic services from Santiago to Malaga, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Zaragoza.

Santiago de Compostela’s Old Town is a UNESCO World

Heritage site, featuring diverse architecture styles such as Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassicist. The city is a well-known pilgrim destination and cultural hub.

The Galicia region is also known for its Albariño white wine and coastal attractions. Nearby urban centers include A Coruña and Vigo, while the Rías Baixas area offers popular beaches and islands.
