Allegiant Airlines announced it will introduce nonstop service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Orlando International Airport starting February 12, 2027. One-way fares for this new route will start at $49, though limited seats are available at this price.

Allegiant Airlines Expands Presence at CVG

Allegiant has served over 10 million customers at CVG since launching operations more than ten years ago. The airline currently offers nonstop flights to 23 destinations from CVG. Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, Drew Wells, stated the new Orlando route demonstrates the airline’s ability to adjust to travel demand and add options during peak leisure travel periods.

“We’re excited to announce

this new route into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most,” said Wells.

Local Airport Board Comments and Route Growth

Chad Summe, Chair of the Kenton County Airport Board which oversees CVG, noted Orlando’s popularity as a vacation destination for the Cincinnati region. He also highlighted Allegiant’s ongoing expansion at CVG, including the airline serving its 10 millionth customer at CVG this past summer.

“Orlando is consistently one of the most popular travel destinations from our region and we’re pleased that Allegiant continues to expand its service at CVG with this new flight

option,” said Summe. Allegiant has added nonstop flights from CVG to Gulf Shores, Alabama; Portland, Oregon; and Santa Ana, California since 2025.

Passengers should also be aware that optional baggage fees and other restrictions may apply on the new Orlando route.
