Allegiant Air has announced the addition of nonstop flights departing from two airports serving the Tampa Bay region, expanding its network with new leisure-focused routes. The airline revealed service from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Georgia and from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport to Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in New Hampshire.

Flight Commencement Dates and Fares

The nonstop service between St. Pete-Clearwater and Savannah/Hilton Head is set to begin on November 15, 2026. Introductory one-way fares for this route will start at $39. The Sarasota-Bradenton to Portsmouth International Airport route will launch shortly after, starting November 23, 2026. Both routes add

new direct travel options for passengers in the Tampa Bay area.

Allegiant’s Presence and Network Strategy in Tampa Bay

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport operates as an Allegiant Air base, supporting the carrier’s multiple destinations across the United States. Additionally, Allegiant maintains a strong presence at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The airline focuses on providing nonstop flights that connect smaller and mid-sized markets with popular tourist destinations, bypassing major hub airports to streamline leisure travel.

Broader Network Expansion

The two Tampa Bay nonstop routes are part of a larger Allegiant expansion that introduces 11 new nonstop routes across its network. This expansion aims to increase travel choices and strengthen Allegiant’s service in markets

where it is already established. Travelers departing from Tampa Bay area airports will see enhanced access to new destinations starting in late 2026.
