Allegiant Airlines will introduce nine new domestic routes early in 2027, predominantly seasonal flights linking northern U.S. markets with Florida destinations. The new routes include one year-round service and several hyper-seasonal routes aimed at spring break travelers.

The year-round route connects Cincinnati, Ohio, with Orlando, Florida, with service starting February 12, 2027. Seasonal flights will operate between Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Sanford, Florida, running from February 10 through April 17, 2027. Seven additional hyper-seasonal routes will connect points in New England to Florida, focusing on peak leisure periods.

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, stated the new routes exemplify

the airline’s flexible business model. Wells said, “These new routes reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.” He added the airline plans to continue expanding its network to match traveler preferences.

The addition of these routes increases nonstop flight options between colder northern markets and warm Florida destinations during high-demand travel periods. This expansion aims to accommodate the significant increase in spring break travel.

Allegiant’s strategy focuses heavily on leisure travel, and this network growth supports seasonal connections to popular vacation destinations. Most of the

new routes are timed to meet the surge in demand during the spring break season in early 2027.
