Allegiant Airlines will begin nonstop service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Orlando International Airport starting February 12, 2027. This route will provide direct travel from the Cincinnati region to one of the area’s top leisure destinations.
One-way fares for the new nonstop flights will start at $49. The airline noted that seats and dates are limited, and the lowest fares will not be available on all flights. Additional fees for baggage and other restrictions may apply, but specific flight frequencies and schedules have not been disclosed.
Official statements on the new route
“We’re excited to announce this new route into our growing network and
will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. He added that the flight expansion reflects the airline’s flexible business model designed to respond to demand and offer more options during peak leisure travel periods.
Chad Summe, Board Chair of CVG Airport, stated, “Orlando is consistently one of the most popular travel destinations from our region and we’re pleased that Allegiant continues to expand its service at CVG with this new flight option.” Summe also highlighted that Allegiant served its 10 millionth customer at CVG
this summer and now operates 23 nonstop destinations from the airport.
Allegiant’s expanding presence at CVG and destination demand
Since 2025, Allegiant has introduced nonstop flights from CVG to Gulf Shores, Alabama; Portland, Oregon; and Santa Ana, California. The new Orlando route continues the airline’s pattern of growing nonstop options at CVG to meet leisure travel demand.
Offering nonstop flights to Orlando aligns with Allegiant’s strategy to provide direct service to high-demand vacation spots for travelers from the Cincinnati area. This expansion is part of Allegiant’s broader effort to increase connectivity and convenience by reducing the need for connecting flights.
