Allegiant Air plans to add nine new routes to its network starting early 2027, primarily seasonal flights connecting northern U.S. markets with Florida. Most routes will operate during peak leisure periods to meet spring break demand.

Route Details and Service Periods

The new year-round service links Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, beginning February 12, 2027. A seasonal route between Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Sanford, Florida, will run from February 10 to April 17. Additionally, seven hyper-seasonal routes will connect various locations in New England with Florida during the peak spring travel window.

Official Statements and Strategic Focus

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, described the route expansions as a

reflection of the carrier’s flexible business model. Wells said, “We’re excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” He added, “These new routes reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.”

The expansions align with Allegiant’s strategy to respond dynamically to seasonal travel demand, particularly around the spring break period. The addition of these flights provides passengers with more nonstop options between northern cities and warm-weather

destinations in Florida.
