Allegiant Airlines will commence nonstop service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) in Kentucky and Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida on February 12, 2027. The airline announced the new route on August 17-18, 2026.
One-way fares for the CVG to Orlando flights will start as low as $49, though seating and dates at this price are limited. Since 2025, Allegiant has expanded its CVG route network to 23 nonstop destinations, including Gulf Shores, Alabama; Portland, Oregon; and Santa Ana, California. The airline has served over 10 million customers at CVG since launching service there more than a decade ago.
Statements from Allegiant and CVG Officials
Drew Wells, Allegiant Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, said the new route exemplifies the airline’s adaptable business model that responds to leisure travel demand. “We’re excited to announce this new route into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most,” Wells stated. “This new route reflects the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.”
Chad Summe, Board Chair of the Kenton County Airport Board overseeing CVG, noted Orlando’s enduring popularity among travelers from the Cincinnati
region. “Orlando is consistently one of the most popular travel destinations from our region and we’re pleased that Allegiant continues to expand its service at CVG with this new flight option,” Summe said. He added that the summer of 2026 marked Allegiant’s milestone of serving its 10 millionth customer at CVG.
Passenger Benefits and Travel Context
The new nonstop flight will provide passengers at CVG with a direct travel option to Orlando starting in February 2027. Fares begin at $49 one-way, offering an economical choice for travelers to one of the country’s top leisure destinations. Restrictions and optional baggage fees may apply according to Allegiant’s
standard policies.
Allegiant’s expansion at CVG aligns with its broader strategy of adjusting routes based on leisure travel demand. Orlando remains a highly sought-after destination for travelers from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, driving Allegiant’s decision to add the nonstop connection.
