Access to Terminals Two and Three via road has been suspended due to ongoing flooding beneath roads in the central terminal area. Heathrow Airport has instructed passengers not to travel by car to or from these terminals amid the closures. There is no flooding within Terminals Two or Three themselves, and flights have not been disrupted
despite the flooding.

Passengers traveling to or from Terminals Two and Three must not travel by road. Heathrow advises passengers to use Heathrow Express, Elizabeth Line, and Piccadilly Line rail services where possible. Any passengers that must travel by car should use park and ride facilities at Terminals Four or Five and take free rail services from there or change at local rail stations. Travelers are urged to allow extra time for their journeys given the restricted access and potential delays.

A Heathrow Airport spokesman said: “Flooding in the central terminal area has resulted in ongoing road closures restricting access
to Terminals 2 and 3. Passengers travelling to or from either of these terminals today must not travel by road. Passengers are strongly advised to use Heathrow Express, Elizabeth Line and Piccadilly Line rail services where possible. Any passengers that must travel by car must use Park and Ride, head to Terminals 4 or 5 and take free rail services from there, or change at local rail stations.” He added, “Please allow extra time for your journey. Our teams are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, we apologise for any disruption caused.” The disruption occurs during the
UK school summer holidays, a peak travel period at Heathrow Airport.
