The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop at Denver International Airport at 3:25 p.m. on Friday due to thunderstorms, expected to last until 6:30 p.m. A ground delay also started at 3 p.m., with an average delay of 104 minutes, expected to continue until midnight.

More than 100 flights have been canceled as the FAA manages flight operations amid the weather disruptions. Thunderstorms impacting the Front Range are forecasted near the airport through 10 p.m. and into the overnight hours, according to the 11 Alert Weather Team.
