Celebrity Cruises announced its itinerary deployments for 2028 and 2029, featuring voyages to all seven continents. The schedule introduces new itineraries across Europe on four Edge Series ships, including the renewed Celebrity Beyond, along with routes covering Alaska, Asia, Australia, New England, South America, and Antarctica.
European Deployments Expand with Edge Series Ships and New Onboard Features
For the first time, four Edge Series vessels, including the Celebrity Beyond after its 2026 renewal, will operate in Europe in 2028-2029. These ships will offer seven- to 14-night sailings from Southampton to destinations in Norway, Iceland, and Scandinavia. Celebrity Beyond returns to Europe since 2023 featuring new amenities such as the Mediterranean restaurant
Bora and the Celebrity Pool Club with Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol, which are set to debut in November 2026.
15-night voyages on Celebrity Beyond include Icelandic ports Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri, and Seydisfjordur, followed by Norwegian fjords like Geiranger and Bergen. Celebrity Apex will conduct 12-night Scandinavia sailings visiting Oslo, Skagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Copenhagen. Apex will also operate new 12-night British Isles sailings including Celebrity Cruises’ first call to Galway, Ireland.
Mediterranean itineraries aboard Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent, and Celebrity Eclipse range from seven to 11 nights covering Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece,
and Turkey. Celebrity Constellation will offer 10- and 11-night sailings visiting Italy and Croatia, including its first stop in Bari, Italy since 2014.
Celebrity Infinity provides year-round European sailings with routes to Egypt’s Alexandria, marking Celebrity’s first Egypt sailings since 2023, featuring overnight stays. Itineraries from Athens explore Santorini, Kavala, Rhodes, Mykonos, and Ephesus during shoulder season, while off-season departures from Barcelona focus on winter sun destinations like the Canary Islands, Portugal, and Morocco.
Alaska, Australia, and Asia Routes Highlight Land Tours and Festival Experiences
Alaska itineraries in 2028 deploy three Celebrity ships. Celebrity Edge returns for its fifth Alaska season. Celebrity Equinox sails Alaska for the first time with seven-night
open-jaw voyages between Vancouver and Seward. Celebrity Millennium offers round-trip Alaska cruises from Vancouver. Equinox also introduces land-based Cruisetour options featuring lodges in Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali.
Celebrity Equinox will add new round-trip Hawaiian sailings from Los Angeles. In Australia and New Zealand, Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice operate 23 sailings departing Sydney and Auckland, ranging from four- to 14-night itineraries. Solstice’s South Pacific itineraries include Tauranga, New Zealand; Lifou in the Loyalty Islands; and Mystery Island, Vanuatu.
Celebrity Solstice will conduct a full season in Japan from April to October 2028, featuring overnight stays in Kyoto and Aomori and
festival visits such as Golden Week and Gion Matsuri. Celebrity Millennium’s spring and fall sailings in Japan align with cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons. Both Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Millennium visit Okinawa 17 times during the deployment.
Winter sailings on Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Millennium cover Southeast Asia with overnight calls in Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand; Benoa, Indonesia; Hanoi, Vietnam; Hong Kong; and Penang, Malaysia. On New Year’s Eve 2029, Celebrity Millennium overnight guests in Hong Kong can view the city’s fireworks display.
South America and Antarctica Voyages Include New Year Holiday Expedition
South American and Antarctic itineraries aboard Celebrity Equinox include 12- to 16-night voyages visiting Chile, Argentina,
Patagonia, Antarctic regions, and Iguazu Falls. Key destinations cover Chilean Fjords, Cape Horn, Tierra del Fuego National Park, Valparaiso, and Buenos Aires. Guests will experience wildlife viewing, hiking, and cultural cuisine including Patagonian barbecue and Chilean seafood.
A 16-night New Year’s holiday sailing to Antarctica offers a unique travel opportunity at the end of 2028.
North American Cruises to Bermuda and Canada/New England
In May 2028, Celebrity Summit will operate seven-night sailings from Cape Liberty, New Jersey, to Bermuda with two overnight port stays. The itinerary facilitates activities such as scuba diving, golf, and visits to the island’s pink sand beaches.
From September through October 2028, 12-night cruises
departing Boston will visit Canadian and New England ports, featuring overnight stops including Quebec City, where guests can explore historic Old Quebec after dark.

The deployment follows Celebrity Beyond’s 2026 refurbishment. New onboard features
