On August 10, 2026, Celebrity Cruises announced its deployment plans for 2028 and 2029, featuring voyages to all seven continents. The line will expand its Europe season with four Edge Series ships, including the renewed Celebrity Beyond, sailing the region for the first time in this deployment cycle.
Expanded European Itineraries and New Amenities on Celebrity Beyond
Celebrity Beyond returns to Europe for the first time since 2023, offering sailings from seven to 14 nights departing Southampton. The ship visits Icelandic ports such as Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri, and Seydisfjordur before sailing Norway’s fjords including Geiranger and Bergen on 14-night routes. The Edge Series will also feature new onboard experiences
including the Celebrity Pool Club, Orange Peel Bar & Grille, Tacos del Sol, and outdoor Mediterranean dining at Bora.
Besides Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Apex will operate 12-night Scandinavian itineraries with calls in Oslo, Skagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Copenhagen. Apex will also debut 12-night British Isles cruises with the first-ever Celebrity visit to Galway, Ireland. Mediterranean sailings between seven and 11 nights will be offered by Celebrity Xcel, Ascent, and Eclipse covering Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey, while Celebrity Constellation will operate 10- and 11-night Italy and Croatia routes including the first visit to Bari since 2014.
Celebrity Infinity will provide year-round European cruises, including overnight stops in Alexandria, Egypt, and shoulder-season itineraries from Athens and Barcelona.
Alaska and Hawaii Sailings Expand in 2028
Three ships will serve Alaska in 2028. Celebrity Edge returns for its fifth season with an innovative outward-facing design promoting nature viewing. Celebrity Equinox will conduct its inaugural Alaska season offering seven-night open-jaw sailings between Vancouver and Seward, plus land-based Cruisetours with stays in Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali. Celebrity Millennium will offer round-trip Alaska voyages from Vancouver. Equinox will also introduce new round-trip Hawaii cruises departing from Los Angeles, focusing on tropical destinations.
Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Asia Itineraries
Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice will operate
23 sailings from Sydney and Auckland across Australia and New Zealand with durations from four to 14 nights. South Pacific routes on Celebrity Solstice will include Tauranga, Lifou in the Loyalty Islands, and Mystery Island, Vanuatu. Celebrity Solstice’s first full season in Japan runs April through October 2028 with port calls including Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, and Aomori, featuring festival participation and overnight stays in key cities. Celebrity Millennium will offer spring and fall sailings aligned with Cherry Blossom, Hibiscus, and autumn koyo viewing seasons. Together, Solstice and Millennium will visit Okinawa 17 times during the year.
Winter sailings in
Southeast Asia on Celebrity Solstice and Millennium include destinations in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China with overnight stops in Bangkok, Phuket, Benoa (Bali), Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Penang. Celebrity Millennium will offer an overnight New Year’s Eve stay in Hong Kong with city fireworks viewing.
South America, Antarctica, Bermuda, and Canada/New England Cruises
Celebrity Equinox will sail 12- to 16-night itineraries covering five countries in South America and Antarctica, visiting sites such as the Chilean Fjords, Iguazu Falls, Patagonia, Cape Horn, Valparaiso, Buenos Aires, and Tierra del Fuego National Park. A 16-night Antarctic holiday voyage will include New Year’s Eve celebrations. Seven-night cruises to Bermuda on Celebrity
Summit depart from Cape Liberty, New Jersey in May 2028 and include two overnight stays. Canada and New England sailings from Boston during September and October 2028 span 12 nights and feature an overnight in Quebec City.
