Multiple attempts by the flight crew and the parent to secure the child in the seat were unsuccessful. The removal of the parent, child, and their baggage delayed the flight beyond the airport’s 12:30 a.m. runway closure time, making further departure impossible that night.

result, all remaining passengers on the flight were required to disembark. Porter Airlines rebooked these travelers on another flight scheduled for the following day, disrupting their travel plans.
