Edmonton–Calgary, Calgary–Victoria, and Toronto–Calgary, each with three cancellations. Routes such as Cancun–Toronto, Toronto–Vancouver, Toronto–Edmonton, and Calgary–Kelowna saw two cancellations each. Despite cancellations on WestJet-operated services, WestJet Encore flights on Q400 aircraft and codeshare flights operated by partners remain unaffected. Sunwing Vacations, part of the WestJet Group, reported that most of its flights continue operating as scheduled, with traveler notifications sent only if a flight is cancelled.

CUPE president Alia Hussain acknowledged progress in talks and expressed hope to avoid a strike.
